Novus Glass

Dr. Frank Werner started Novus Glass in 1972. Werner, an inventor, had sought to find a way to repair broken or damaged windshields rather than have to replace them. He enlisted chemical engineer Bill Wiele to help formulate a way to do this. The two patented their method and started the first ever auto glass repair business, which came to be known as Novus. In 1985, the company began franchising and there are now more than 1,700 locations.

Start-up Cost:$45.78K - 134.8K
